Oh boy, Big Blue.
The New York Giants dropped yet another disappointing game this season with a loss tot he Washington Redskins last Sunday afternoon, dropping the G-men into a tie for first place in the NFC East. Meanwhile, the New York Jets got back on track, and back into the AFC playoff picture, with a much needed victory over the Miami Dolphins.
Let’s just say, the Giants could use a win this week over their same-stadium rivals. The NFC East is still wide open and Big Blue desperately needs to stay on track.
So, what are the chances the G-men can bounce back this week? Here’s what the early odds have to say about the Sunday afternoon matchup, per OddsShark:

What To Watch For
The New York Jets aren’t backing away from this one.
Gang Green is, publicly, hyped for its Sunday afternoon matchup against inter-stadium rival New York Giants, fresh off a dominant performance against the Miami Dolphins last week.
“They have to win, we have to win,” Jets coach Todd Bowles said. “That’s what the NFL makes the schedule for, to come down to these types of ballgames.”
The question facing the Jets though, is on its defense’s ability to show up this weekend. The team’s defensive effort has been up and down all season following a dominant start this year. Eli Manning threw three interceptions last week and the Giants run game has been bordering on woeful for the past few weeks.
Still, let’s think about the history of this game.
The last time these two squads met during the regular season, it was the 15th game of the regular season and the Giants were 7-7. Big Blue came back to win the game, highlighted by a 99-yard touchdown by Victor Cruz. This year, there’s no Cruz, no strength on the offensive line and an up-and-down performance.
Welcome to must-win Sunday.
