Pittsburgh may have needed the last week of the season to clinch the playoffs, but they should be treated anything but lightly. The Steelers are a road favorite in their playoff opener, but that doesn’t matter much in a third meeting between divisional opponents.
Tonight they’ll face the Bengals and backup QB AJ McCarron, and attempt to earn their first playoff win since 2010.
Unlike the first matchup of the day, the winner of Bengals-Steelers will know who their playoff opponent will be as soon as the final whistle blows.

Denver, and only Denver
As the bottom seed in the AFC, Pittsburgh only has one possible opponent for the next round should they advance. They would automatically face the top seed Denver, who Pittsburgh defeated at home in December. That was against Brock Osweiler, and now Peyton Manning is back in the huddle for Denver.
