WATCH: Aaron Rodgers Hail Mary to Jeff Janis Forces OT

So, Aaron Rodgers and the Green Bay Packers are pretty good at Hail Mary’s.

With the Pack down by seven with five seconds remaining during Saturday night’s divisional-round matchup, the Arizona Cardinals decided to bring pressure instead of falling back into full-on prevent defense. Rodgers avoided the pressure, rolled to his left and let a desperation heave fly to the end-zone.

And Jeff Janis went up and got it.

The 2014 seventh-round pick, in the game because of injuries to Davante Adams and Randall Cobb, out-leaped five-time Pro Bowler Patrick Peterson and came down with the unbelievable 41-yard touchdown reception. Mason Crosby then came on to hit a PAT with zero seconds left, sending the game to overtime.

This was, of course, the second time this season Rodgers completed a Hail Mary with no time on the clock. He found Richard Rodgers earlier in the year to beat the Detroit Lions in dramatic fashion.

Unfortunately for the Pack, Larry Fitzgerald made sure Janis’ unbelievable catch didn’t matter. He started the extra period with a 75-yard catch-and-run, and finished things off with a five-yard touchdown on a shovel pass to give the Cards a 26-20 victory.
