This dunk by what appeared to be a random guy in jeans broke the internet during the NBA All-Star Game. The dunk occurred during a time-out in the fourth quarter and went viral after TNT showed highlights of the dunk when they returned from commercial break.
Jordan Kilganon is the man that pulled off the crazy dunk and is well known for his dunking ability. According to Complex, Kilganon is 23 years old and from Ontario, Canada. He is 6’1″ but still able to pull off amazing dunks like the one above.
He has started a business called Bounce Kit to help people increase their vertical leap. According to Yahoo Sports, he was pursuing a bachelor’s degree in industrial design before dropping out to make a living through his amazing dunks.
Through training Kilganon increased his standing vertical to an amazing 43″. He spoke with Yahoo about how it felt when he first started training to get better at dunking:
Eventually my legs would be so sore that I’d try to get out of bed and I’d just collapse. I’d have to hold onto the walls to make it to the kitchen. People would always ask me, ‘Why are you doing this?’ In my head, I was like, ‘You don’t understand. I’m going to be the best in the world at this.’ “
