2016 Belmont Stakes Preview & Odds
Nyquist’s bid at the elusive Triple Crown was stopped at the Preakness last month, but there’s still plenty to look forward to at the Belmont Stakes.
Exaggerator, the horse to defeat Nyquist at Maryland, enters as the favorite, although it’ll have competition in the form of Suddenbreakingnews, who finished fifth at the Kentucky Derby, and Creator, who won the Arkansas Derby.
Some other popular contenders include Stradivari, who finished fifth at the Preakness following two straight wins, and Cherry Wine, who came in second to Exaggerator at the Preakness.
