The Legends are back to continue their trips through time as they try to stop the evil Vandal Savage in the season two premiere of DC’s Legends of Tomorrow on The CW. Read on for a preview of the new episode and to find out when the show debuts.
Legends is a part of the “Arrowverse” begun by producer Greg Berlanti and his team with Arrow and continued with The Flash. Supergirl is a “peripheral” member of the universe, existing on a different Earth. However, she met The Flash last season and will be a part of a mega four-way crossover this season.
Legends began with time traveler Rip Hunter (Arthur Darvill) going back in time to find a group of 21st Century heroes to help him stop the immortal Vandal Savage from taking control of the world (and killing his son). However, Darvill really picked his rag-tag group of heroes based on the fact that their lives didn’t mean much to his timeline. Nevertheless, they’ve decided to help him to make sure they do matter in the future.
