WWE ‘SmackDown Live’ Match Results & Spoilers May 30th

A fatal five-way will take place tonight on ‘SmackDown Live.’ (WWE.com)

A new episode of SmackDown Live just aired on the USA Network. Here’s what happened:

9:44 – Dolph Ziggler defeats AJ Styles.

9:33 – Randy Orton enters. He says that wrestling is in his blood, and so he is ashamed that he lost the championship to a guy like Jinder Mahal. But Orton declares he’s going to win the title back at Money in the Bank. He mentions his father and his grandfather, saying that his grandfather would slap him if he saw him lose to Jinder Mahal.

Jinder Mahal’s theme song starts. He appears on the Jumbotron, saying that Randy Orton is just like every other ignorant American trying to cling to the past. Mahal declares that he is the future.

9:24 – Backstage, AJ Styles says that in his match tonight against Dolph Ziggler, he’ll be building up some momentum ahead of Money in the Bank. Dolph Ziggler enters and says that he’s the only person in this match who became World Champion after cashing in a Money in the Bank contract.

9:14 – Breezango defeat The Colons (formerly The Shining Stars).

8:54 – Charlotte, Carmella, Natalya, Becky Lynch and Tamina are set to participate in a five-way elimination match. However, they all start attacking each other before the referee gets to ring the bell. Shane McMahon then enters. He decides that at Money in the Bank, there will be a women’s ladder match consisting of Charlotte, Carmella, Natalya, Becky Lynch and Tamina.

8:51 – Another episode of The Fashion Files takes place, this one being done in a film noir format. Their office is destroyed, and they believe it’s because they got too close to the Tag Team Championship. They decide that this will be their next case.

8:35 – The Usos talk about the fact that they have defeated all the competitors who have come before them. They also talk trash on Atlanta, Georgia.

The New Day enter. They announce that they have returned, and they say that they are going after the SmackDown Tag Team Championship. The Usos say that they run this show and The New Day should get out of here. The New Day announce that Shane McMahon has given them a match against The Usos at Money in the Bank. 

8:17 – Sami Zayn and Shinsuke Nakamura defeat Kevin Owens and Baron Corbin. The match ends when Shinsuke Nakamura pins Kevin Owens.

8:02 – Kevin Owens hosts an episode of The Highlight Reel. Owens says that in three weeks, he’s going to do what Chris Jericho never could: win the Money in the Bank ladder match.

Shinsuke Nakamura enters. Owens says that the last person who walked around here claiming to be a rock star was Chris Jericho, who was sent into an early retirement; Owens threatens to do the same to Nakamura.

Nakamura is about to speak, when suddenly Baron Corbin enters. He says they should actually show some highlights, considering this is called The Highlight Reel, and so Corbin plays footage of himself beating up Sami Zayn last week. Corbin says that in two weeks, he will become Mr. Money in the Bank. Shinsuke Nakamura says that last week, he pinned Kevin Owens.

Baron Corbin enters the ring, and a fight breaks out between these three. Baron Corbin and Kevin Owens team up on Shinsuke Nakamura, but then Sami Zayn runs in to defend Nakamura. He and Nakamura send Corbin and Owens retreating. Zayn takes the mic and tells Corbin that their fight is far from over. He then proposes that all four of them have a match.

8:00 – Charlotte, Carmella, Natalya, Becky Lynch and Tamina appear in five different pre-taped video packages, and they all declare that they are going to win the five-way elimination match tonight and become the number one contender for the SmackDown Women’s Championship.
