Two losses in a row have removed the Washington Redskins from the current playoff picture, but they have an opportunity to change that if they can go into Seattle and score a major upset against the NFC West-leading Seahawks. It’s a significant longshot, but it should still be one of the best games of Week 9.
Kickoff is scheduled for 4:05 p.m. ET and will be broadcast in select markets on FOX. When looking for a live stream, the first thing you want to do is to find out if the game is in your market or not, which you can do by checking a coverage map here.

Preview
Unfortunately, it’s a game marred by injuries.
The Seahawks defense will be without All-World safety Earl Thomas, who suffered a hamstring injury last week. The effect he has on that defense was painfully clear during his absence in the second half of last season, but it may not ultimately be a major deal against a Washington team that will likely be without left tackle Trent Williams, center Spencer Long, tight ends Jordan Reed and Niles Paul, and wide receiver Jamison Crowder.
A patchwork offensive line is already bad enough as it is, but a patchwork offensive line trying to communicate through the deafening noise at CenturyLink against a dominant front seven could make life very difficult for quarterback Kirk Cousins.
“You have silent counts, you yell and scream, you can make sure the huddle is tight, you prepare for it with noise at practice and you do the best you can make sure you’re on the details,” said Cousins. “What are the challenges for the new offensive linemen? I mean, you name it. We have all kinds of code words and terms and snap counts and techniques. … It’s a lot. We’ve got to be given a crash course in trying to learn as fast as we can.”
Adding to Washington’s uphill climb is the fact that Seattle added left tackle Duane Brown via midweek trade. The Seahawks offense was already starting to click behind a shaky line, averaging 31.75 points over their last four games, and now with a legitimate force on Russell Wilson’s blind side, they could get back to being one of the most explosive offenses in the league.
Put it all together, and the ‘Hawks are unsurprisingly favored by 7.5 points.
