UFC’s seventh annual International Fight Week concluded with a BANG in Las Vegas on Saturday night.

Daniel Cormier owned the night at UFC 226. Cormier, with a first-round knockout, the 10th of his illustrious career, of defending champion Stipe Miocic, becomes the first fighter in UFC history to simultaneously hold the UFC Heavyweight and Light Heavyweight Championships. Randy Couture is the only other fighter in UFC history to win both championships, but did not hold each at the same time.

On a night full of surprises, underdogs winning was the dominant theme of the night:

Following Cormier’s historic win, Brock Lesnar, current WWE Universal Champion, was called into the cage:

Lesnar is set to fight Cormier for the Heavyweight Championship at UFC 230 at Madison Square Garden in New York City this November.
