As we kick 2020 into high gear, wrestling fans excitedly hop onto the Road to WrestleMania 36 starting with the Royal Rumble.
The ladies of WWE’s premier brands (Raw, SmackDown, NXT and possibly NXT UK) are once again looking to earn a women’s title match at the “Show of Shows.” And the best way to do that is by emerging as the victor of the Women’s Royal Rumble contest. 30 women will enter, but only one will emerge as the ultimate victor. The last two winners of the now-legendary battle royal (2018’s Asuka and 2019’s Becky Lynch) showed just how major a victory at the Royal Rumble for the ladies can be. The 2020 Royal Rumble will determine which woman will go onto WrestleMania 36 and attempt to capture championship gold. And who knows? We might even see a few Hall of Famers pop up in this year’s Women’s Royal Rumble and manage to get the big win!
