Hosted by Little Mix, the 2020 MTV Europe Music Awards are being held live on Sunday, November 8 — but not from location like in years’ past. This year, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the show is being broadcast from cities all over the world, from London to Budapest.
Performers include DaBaby, Doja Cat, Karol G, Jack Harlow, Alicia Keys, Zara Larsson, Maluma, Tate McRae, Sam Smith, and hosts Little Mix. There will also be special appearances from Brazilian superstar Anitta, Madison Beer, supermodel Winnie Harlow, Rita Ora, WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns, and Bebe Rexha.
Lady Gaga leads all nominees with seven nods, including Best Artist, Best Video, Best Song and Best Collaboration. Coming in second in total nominations are Justin Bieber and BTS with five nominations apiece. Ariana Grande has four nominations.
