The Giants claimed Dulcich off waivers from the Broncos on Tuesday, Tom Pelissero of NFL Network reports. After falling out of favor in Denver and being a healthy inactive in each of the Broncos' last eight games, Dulcich should have a better chance at earning playing time in a Giants tight end room that includes Theo Johnson (back), Daniel Bellinger and Chris Manhertz. With the Giants facing a quick turnaround for Week 13 with a Thursday game against the Cowboys, Dulcich likely won't be active for that contest, but he could have an opportunity to compete for snaps once he gets a full week of practice under his belt. Over 16 career games across two-plus seasons in Denver, the 24-year-old Dulcich recorded 41 receptions for 464 yards and two touchdowns on 71 targets.

Dropped by Denver
Dulcich was waived by the Broncos on Monday, Mike Klis of 9NEWS reports. Dulcich had been a healthy scratch in each of the Broncos' last eight games before being waived Monday. The third-year tight end from UCLA caught five of his 12 targets for 28 yards across 111 offensive snaps in Denver's first four games this season. The Broncos' tight end room now consists of Adam Trautman, Lucas Krull and Nate Adkins.
Healthy scratch Week 12
Dulcich (coach's decision) is inactive for Sunday's game against the Raiders. Dulcich last saw the field Week 3 against the Jets, and he'll be a healthy scratch for the eighth consecutive game Sunday. Adam Trautman, Nate Adkins and Lucas Krull once again will constitute the Broncos' tight-end depth chart versus Las Vegas, while Dulcich's next opportunity to return to the field will come in a Week 13 Monday night home matchup against the Browns on Dec. 2.
Inactive Week 10
Dulcich (coach's decision) is inactive for Sunday's matchup against the Chiefs. Dulcich will be a healthy scratch for a sixth straight game. He last played in Week 4 against the Jets. Adam Trautman, Nate Adkins and Lucas Krull will be Denver's active tight ends versus Kansas City.
Inactive Week 9
Dulcich (coach's decision) is listed as inactive for Sunday's matchup with the Ravens, Parker Gabriel of The Denver Post reports. With Adam Trautman and Lucas Krull healthy, the Broncos will again opt to go with two tight ends on their 53-man roster. As a result, Dulcich will be a healthy scratch for the fifth-straight game. He last played in Week 4 versus the Jets.
Healthy scratch for Week 8
Dulcich (coach's decision) is inactive for Sunday's game against the Panthers. Dulcich will be a healthy scratch for a fourth-straight week as Adam Trautman and Lucas Krull will be the Broncos' two tight ends for Sunday's contest. Dulcich last played in Week 4 against the Jets, during which he logged 21 snaps on offense but failed to haul in his lone target. His next chance at suiting up will be Week 9 against the Ravens on Sunday, Nov. 3.
Not playing Thursday
Dulcich (coach's decision) is inactive for Thursday's game against the Saints, Aric DiLalla of the Broncos' official site reports. Dulcich will be a healthy scratch for a third straight week as the Broncos roll with Adam Trautman and Lucas Krull as their two tight ends for Thursday night's game. Dulcich's next opportunity to suit up will be Week 8 against the Panthers on Oct. 27. He played in the first four games of the regular season, but his five catches for 28 yards all came in the first two games of the year.
Inactive versus Raiders
Dulcich (coach's decision) is inactive for Sunday's game against the Raiders, Aric DiLalla of the Broncos' official site reports. With Dulcich a healthy scratch Sunday, Adam Trautman and Lucas Krull are slated to handle Denver's Week 5 tight end duties. Through four games this season, Dulcich has been limited to five catches (on 12 targets) for 28 yards.
Sees one target in Week 4
Dulcich failed to catch his lone target in Sunday's 10-9 win over the Jets. Dulcich continues to be an afterthought in the Denver offense, while the Broncos have found it extremely challenging to move the ball down the field consistently through four weeks. The third-year tight end played the fewest offensive snaps (24) of any tight end again, while both Nate Adkins and Adam Trautman both finished with 28 snaps in the contest. Dulcich cannot be trusted for fantasy lineups in Week 5 when the Broncos host the Raiders.
