Burks (knee) was placed on injured reserve Saturday, John Glennon of NashvillePost.com reports. Head coach Brian Callahan had suggested this would occur Friday, so it should come as no surprise to fantasy managers. The Titans' anemic passing attack hasn't helped matters, but Burks hasn't produced nearly to the level one would expect based on his draft pedigree, as he has just four receptions for 34 yards across give games while playing a moderately high amount of snaps behind Calvin Ridley and DeAndre Hopkins.

Lands on IR
Burks (knee) was placed on injured reserve Saturday, John Glennon of NashvillePost.com reports. Head coach Brian Callahan had suggested this would occur Friday, so it should come as no surprise to fantasy managers. The Titans' anemic passing attack hasn't helped matters, but Burks hasn't produced nearly to the level one would expect based on his draft pedigree, as he has just four receptions for 34 yards across give games while playing a moderately high amount of snaps behind Calvin Ridley and DeAndre Hopkins.
Won't play in Buffalo
Burks (knee) has been ruled out for Sunday's game against the Bills, Jim Wyatt of the Titans' official site reports. Burks' absence could lead to additional opportunities for Nick Westbrook-Ikhine, who scored his first touchdown of the season in this past Sunday's 20-17 loss to the Colts. Calvin Ridley, DeAndre Hopkins and Tyler Boyd continue to occupy the top three spots on the wide receiver depth chart in Tennessee's low-octane passing game. Burks' next chance to suit up will be Week 8 in Detroit, though his absence may extend beyond that point, as coach Brian Callahan said Friday that Burks may need to go on IR, per Wyatt.
Downgrades to DNP on Thursday
Burks did not participate in practice Thursday, Jim Wyatt of the Titans' official site reports. Burks was a limited participant in Wednesday's session, but his inability to practice Thursday doesn't bode well for his chances of playing Sunday against the Bills. Friday's injury report should provide a better idea on whether the 2022 first-round pick will play in Week 7. If Burks can't suit up, Nick Westbrook-Ikhine would step up as the Titans' fourth wideout behind Calvin Ridley, DeAndre Hopkins and Tyler Boyd.
Limited to open week
Burks (knee) was a limited participant during Wednesday's practice session, Turron Davenport of ESPN.com reports. Burks played just nine offensive snaps during the Titans' Week 6 loss to the Colts. It appears the 2022 first-round pick may have come out of that contest a little bit worse for wear, but he'll have two more days to upgrade his practice participation ahead of Sunday's game against the Bills. Burks has seen his role in the Titans' offense decrease as the regular season has progressed, and he's caught just four passes (on eight targets) for 34 yards across five games.
Role shrinks in loss
Burks recorded one reception on one target for 10 yards in Sunday's 20-17 loss to the Colts. Burks has one catch in four of five games this season, so his stat line wasn't all that surprising. However, he played a season-low nine offensive snaps (16 percent), three fewer than Nick Westbrook-Ikhine.
Another one-catch game
Burks recorded one catch on one target for 13 yards in Monday's 31-12 win over the Dolphins. Burks continued to play around 50 percent of offensive snaps and maintained a minimal role in the Titans' game plan. He has one or fewer receptions in every game this season, though his 13-yard catch late in the first quarter was his longest of the campaign.
One catch in Week 3 loss
Burks recorded one catch on three targets for nine yards in Sunday's 30-14 loss to the Packers. Burks' role in the offense remained stable at a 50 percent snap rate, but he has been targeted only six times through three games. Even with DeAndre Hopkins still limited by a knee injury, Burks has struggled to earn a consistent role in the Tennessee offense.
No stats in Week 2
Burks was targeted once but did not record a catch in Sunday's 24-17 loss to the Jets. Burks saw his snap rate fall from 70 percent in Week 1 to 50 percent Sunday. That was primarily due to DeAndre Hopkins ramping up his workload, and that trend will likely continue as the season progresses.
Limited to three touches
Burks recorded one reception (on two targets) for two yards in Sunday's 24-17 loss to the Bears. He added two rushes for one yard. Burks was on the field for 44 offensive snaps, which was more than expected as DeAndre Hopkins was severely limited due to an ongoing knee issue. Despite the opportunity, Burks made a limited impact on the game as his longest gain went for only six yards.
