Hodge caught both of his targets for 22 yards during Sunday's 38-6 loss to the Broncos. Hodge caught multiple passes for a second time this season. However, outside of those two outings, he's been targeted in only one other game. He's played double-digit offensive snaps in four of the last eight games, but, more often than not, he's left completely out of the Falcons' offensive game plan.

KhaDarel Hodge Latest News
Catches two passes in loss
Hodge caught both of his targets for 22 yards during Sunday's 38-6 loss to the Broncos. Hodge caught multiple passes for a second time this season. However, outside of those two outings, he's been targeted in only one other game. He's played double-digit offensive snaps in four of the last eight games, but, more often than not, he's left completely out of the Falcons' offensive game plan.
Catches one pass vs. Dallas
Hodge caught one of two targets for nine yards during Sunday's 27-21 win over the Cowboys. Drake London (hip) left the game late in the first quarter and didn't return, thrusting Hodge into an expanded role. He played a season-high 45 offensive snaps, his previous high-water mark was 18, and was targeted for the first time since Week 5, when he had a game-winning touchdown in overtime versus Tampa Bay. London is considered day-to-day, but if he's forced to miss time, Hodge could sneak on fantasy radars, though Darnell Mooney and Ray-Ray McCloud would be the Falcons' top wideouts.
No targets in blowout win
Hodge didn't record a target during Sunday's 38-20 win over the Panthers. Hodge played a season-high 13 offensive snaps and caught a game-winning TD in overtime last week. However, aside from those heroics, he's been a non-factor, recording zero targets on 14 offensive snaps across five games.
Game-winning catch in OT
Hodge caught both his targets for 67 yards and a touchdown during Thursday's 36-30 overtime win over Tampa Bay. Hodge played only 16 offensive snaps, the fewest among Atlanta's wideouts. However, he ended up playing hero after taking a check-down pass from Kirk Cousins the distance during the first drive of overtime. Hodge also had a 22-yard catch in the second quarter and was called for offensive pass interference in the red zone during the third quarter. Before Thursday's game, Hodge played primarily on special teams and hadn't recorded a target through four games.
Key special teamer
Hodge made the Falcons' initial 53-man roster Tuesday, Terrin Waack of the Falcons' official site reports. Hodge is back for a third season in Atlanta, and his role isn't expected to change much. He played a career-high 358 offensive snaps in 2023 but had similar production to his first year with the Falcons when he put up a 13-202-1 line. Hodge moves down the WR pecking order after the additions of Ray-Ray McCloud and Darnell Mooney, but will remain a key special-teams player for Atlanta in 2024.
Inks new deal
Hodge re-signed with the Falcons on Thursday, Tori McElhaney of the team's official site reports. Hodge will get a third year with Atlanta after spending the two previous seasons with the team. In 2023 the 29-year-old played in all 17 games, recording 14 catches on 23 targets for 232 yards. With Drake London returning and the acquisitions of Darnell Mooney and Rondale Moore so far this offseason, Hodge likely won't be high on the team's positional depth chart at wide receiver to start the 2024 campaign.
Catches three passes in loss
With Drake London (groin) sidelined and Mack Hollins (ankle) leaving the contest early, Hodge played the most offensive snaps (46) among Atlanta's wideouts. He also paced the group in receiving yards, though tight end Jonnu Smith led the team in receptions and receiving yards. After a quiet start to the season (five receptions on six targets for 64 yards across the first seven games), Hodge has secured six of nine targets for 135 yards over the last two weeks. While that's not prolific production, Hodge has clearly seen an uptick in usage and production since London got hurt. As long as London and Hollins remain out, Hodge should be on fantasy radars.
Leads team in receiving
All three of Hodge's targets came in the second half with Taylor Heinicke at the helm. The wideout's first catch was good for a first down on a third-and-13, and his second was a 52-yard strike that set up Atlanta's first touchdown. Hodge caught just five of his six targets for 64 yards across seven games with Desmond Ridder at quarterback, but he appears to have better chemistry with the backup. If Drake London (groin) is sidelined moving forward and Heinicke takes over as the starter, Hodge could see an uptick in volume, but his fantasy value probably remains limited in Atlanta's stagnant offense.
