Patterson secured his lone target for no yards while rushing once for no yards during Sunday's 18-16 win over the Ravens. Patterson hasn't been especially productive when healthy this season, but Sunday's Week 11 win marked the first time he was held without any yards during that 2024 campaign. As long as Najee Harris and Jaylen Warren remain healthy, it seems unlikely that Patterson will have much of a role in the Steelers' offense.

Cordarrelle Patterson Latest News
Two touches in victory
Patterson secured his lone target for no yards while rushing once for no yards during Sunday's 18-16 win over the Ravens. Patterson hasn't been especially productive when healthy this season, but Sunday's Week 11 win marked the first time he was held without any yards during that 2024 campaign. As long as Najee Harris and Jaylen Warren remain healthy, it seems unlikely that Patterson will have much of a role in the Steelers' offense.
Tallies 14 rushing yards
Patterson rushed three times for 14 yards during Sunday's 28-27 win over the Commanders. Patterson made his return to the field Sunday after missing the Steelers' four games heading into their Week 9 bye due to an ankle injury. He was on the field for just eight offensive snaps but still logged three touches. Although it's encouraging to see Patterson back in action, he hasn't been a reliable fantasy option when healthy this year.
Finally over ankle injury
Patterson (ankle) was a full practice participant Wednesday, Teresa Varley of the Steelers' official site reports. Patterson's finally healthy again after having sat out since Week 4. He's poised to reprise his role as Pittsburgh's return man on kickoffs Sunday against the Commanders. Patterson can also contribute at running back, but his opportunities will likely be limited with Najee Harris and Jaylen Warren both healthy ahead of him.
Not playing vs. Big Blue
Patterson (ankle) has been downgraded to out ahead of Monday's game against the Giants, Burt Lauten of the Steelers' official site reports. Patterson was limited in practice all week, but he still drew the doubtful tag due to an ankle injury he suffered in Week 4 against the Colts. The injury is severe enough for Patterson to remain sidelined for a fourth-straight week, and with the Steelers on the bye for Week 9, his next chance at suiting up will be Week 10 against the Commanders on Sunday, Nov. 10. Aaron Shampklin will once again serve as the Steelers' No. 3 running back Monday behind starter Najee Harris and backup Jaylen Warren.
Listed as doubtful
Patterson (ankle) is listed as doubtful for Monday's game against the Giants, Dale Lolley of the Steelers' official site reports. Patterson logged a trio of limited practice sessions this week, but he's nonetheless trending in the wrong direction for Monday's home game against New York. If he can't suit up versus the Giants, Patterson will get the benefit of a bye to rest up before working to return Week 10 at Washington.
Limited in return to practice
Patterson (ankle) was a limited participant during Thursday's practice session, Teresa Varley of the Steelers' official site reports. Patterson has been unable to play or practice since suffering an ankle injury during the Steelers' Week 4 contest against the Colts. His return to practice is a sign that the 2013 first-round pick is progressing through the injury, and his practice participation over the next two days will determine whether he'll be able to suit up for Monday night's game against the Giants. Through the first four games of the regular season, Patterson logged 16 carries for 92 yards and five catches (on seven targets) for 34 yards while operating as the No. 3 running back behind Najee Harris and Jaylen Warren.
Won't play in Week 7
Patterson (ankle) has been ruled out ahead of Sunday's matchup against the Jets, Brooke Pryor of ESPN.com reports. Patterson had missed the Steelers' last two games and was unable to practice all week due to an ankle injury, so it's no surprise he won't suit up for Sunday night's contest. Expect Aaron Shampklin to serve as Pittsburgh's No. 3 running back behind both Najee Harris and Jaylen Warren while Patterson remains sidelined.
Logs another DNP
Patterson (ankle) did not practice Thursday, Teresa Varley of the Steelers' official site reports. Patterson has been unable to practice this week, and he is in jeopardy of missing a third straight game due to an ankle injury. He'll have to practice in some capacity Friday to give himself a shot to play against the Jets on Sunday. If Patterson is ruled out, Aaron Shampklin would serve as the third-string running back behind Najee Harris and Jaylen Warren.
Opens week as DNP
Patterson (ankle) did not participate in Wednesday's practice session. Patterson has missed the Steelers' last two games after injuring his ankle in Week 4 against the Colts. He has yet to practice since the injury, and he is in jeopardy of missing a third straight game unless he's able to return to practice -- at least in a limited capacity -- over the next two days. If Patterson were to miss Sunday's game against the Jets, the Steelers would roll with Najee Harris (ribs), Jaylen Warren and Aaron Shampklin as their three running backs for the contest.
