Charbonnet rushed four times for three yards and caught two passes (two targets) for two yards in Sunday's 20-17 win over the 49ers. Charbonnet continues to serve as the distant No. 2 running back behind Kenneth Walker, who produced 59 yards and a touchdown on 16 touches. Even worse, Charbonnet was quite inefficient in Sunday's win. While he's worth holding onto in case Walker gets injured, Charbonnet has minimal standalone value.

Zach Charbonnet Latest News
Inefficient in divisional win
Charbonnet rushed four times for three yards and caught two passes (two targets) for two yards in Sunday's 20-17 win over the 49ers. Charbonnet continues to serve as the distant No. 2 running back behind Kenneth Walker, who produced 59 yards and a touchdown on 16 touches. Even worse, Charbonnet was quite inefficient in Sunday's win. While he's worth holding onto in case Walker gets injured, Charbonnet has minimal standalone value.
Finishes with five touches Sunday
Charbonnet rushed twice for eight yards and caught two of three targets for 25 yards in Sunday's 26-20 loss to the Rams. Charbonnet didn't make a big impact in the box score with just five touches in Sunday's overtime loss. The backup saw 23 fewer touches than starter Kenneth Walker, highlighting the sophomore's lack of fantasy value when Seattle's backfield is at full strength. Charbonnet should remain a deep-league option coming out of the bye week when the Seahawks visit the 49ers on Nov. 17.
Scores in blowout loss
Charbonnet rushed three times for four yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 31-10 loss to the Bills. He also caught three of four targets for 20 yards. Charbonnet handled 22 offensive snaps compared to Kenneth Walker's 25 snaps, which translated to 45 yards on 13 touches. It's encouraging that Charbonnet received a goal-line touch, but it's worth noting that the Seahawks were trailing 31-3 at the time. Charbonnet has been quite inefficient this year with 3.5 yards per carry, and he'll continue to have limited upside as long as Walker is healthy.
Musters 14 total yards in win
Charbonnet rushed eight times for 19 yards and caught his lone target for a five-yard loss in Sunday's 34-14 win over the Falcons. Charbonnet actually out-snapped Kenneth Walker, who was dealing with an illness prior to the game. However, Walker finished with 93 total yards and two touchdowns while Charbonnet couldn't get much going on the ground or as a receiver. Walker has proved to be an effective receiver while also operating as the primary goal-line back, making Charbonnet tough to start in most fantasy formats.
Registers 35 yards in loss
Charbonnet rushed five times for 20 yards and caught his lone target for 15 yards in Thursday's 36-24 loss to the 49ers. Kenneth Walker remained the clear No. 1 option in the Seahawks' backfield, as Charbonnet's fellow running back recorded 14 carries and eight catches (eight targets) for a combined 69 yards. Charbonnet won't be a dependable fantasy option as long as Walker is healthy, but he should have some deep-league appeal in favorable matchups.
Totals 30 yards versus Giants
Charbonnet rushed twice for 11 yards and caught three of five targets for 19 yards in Sunday's 29-20 loss to the Giants. Kenneth Walker recorded five carries and seven receptions for a combined 76 yards, as the Seahawks committed to the passing game with 40 pass attempts. Charbonnet hasn't played more than 41 percent of the offensive snaps in any of the three games in which Kenneth Walker started, so his reps will likely be limited again Thursday versus the 49ers.
Sees just seven touches as No. 2
Charbonnet rushed twice for 15 yards while bringing in all five of his targets for 39 yards in Monday's primetime loss to the Lions. Charbonnet was coming off of his best game as a pro (18-91-2 rushing line) in last week's win over Miami, but the triumphant return of starter Kenneth Walker (12-80-3) pushed the second-year back to his usual change-of-pace role. Charbonnet still produced strong results on a per-touch basis, but the lack of looks limits the backup's value heading into Sunday's tilt against the Giants.
Relegated to backup
Charbonnet is expected to operate as the team's backup running back with the return of Kenneth Walker (oblique), who does not carry an injury designation for Monday's contest against the Lions, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports. Charbonnet was a true workhorse over the past two weeks, tallying 32 carries and eight receptions (on nine targets) for a total of 176 yards and three touchdowns, but that workload figures to diminish significantly with Walker now back in the fold. When both backs were healthy Week 1, Charbonnet played 33 percent of the offensive snaps, averaging just 1.5 yards per carry off his eight rushes.
Stars align in spot-start
Charbonnet rushed 18 times for 91 yards and two touchdowns in Sunday's 24-3 win over the Dolphins. He added three receptions (four targets) for 16 yards as a receiver. Charbonnet finally put opportunity and skill together to give fantasy managers a strong stat line against Miami in Week 3. The 23-year-old has contributed three touchdowns through three games for Seattle this season, giving him fantasy value heading into a Week 4 matchup against the Lions next Monday. That said, longtime starter Kenneth Walker (oblique) was spotted in practice this week, so Charbonnet could find himself back in his No. 2 role if the former is able to suit against Detroit.
