Lockett recorded two catches (on three targets) for 19 yards during Sunday's 20-17 victory at San Francisco. QB Geno Smith attempted 32 passes Week 11, which typically would provide enough volume for the Seahawks' primary pass catchers to have fruitful outings. However, Jaxon Smith-Njigba (10-110-0 on 11 targets) and DK Metcalf (7-70-0 on nine targets) dominated Smith's attention, leaving scraps behind for the likes of Lockett. Smith also failed to throw a TD for the second time in 10 appearances this season, so Lockett wasn't able to salvage his day with an end-zone visit. Lockett will aim to bounce back next Sunday against the Cardinals.

Tyler Lockett Latest News
Continues to take back seat
Scores in OT loss
Lockett caught three of four targets for 63 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 26-20 overtime loss to the Rams. Lockett got the start in place of DK Metcalf (knee) and wound up catching his fourth touchdown of the season. The veteran receiver has posted a 64-631-4 receiving line through eight games as Seattle enters its bye week. Lockett has produced two strong fantasy games in place of the injured Metcalf, but the Seahawks' No. 1 wideout could return after the team's bye, so Lockett's outlook could take a slight hit against the 49ers on Nov. 17.
Logs full practice Thursday
Lockett (oblique) was a full practice participant Thursday, John Boyle of the Seahawks' official site reports. After previously dealing with thigh and knee issues this season, Lockett was limited Wednesday by an oblique injury, but it didn't stop him from getting back to full participation one day later. With DK Metcalf still not practicing due to the MCL sprain that he suffered Week 7, there's a chance Lockett and Jaxon Smith-Njigba again will highlight the Seahawks' receiving corps Sunday versus the Rams. In Week 8, though, Lockett didn't take advantage against the Bills defense, hauling in one of three targets for nine yards.
Tending to new health concern
Lockett was limited at Wednesday's practice due to an oblique injury, John Boyle of the Seahawks' official site reports. Lockett spent the first month of the season as a regular on Seattle practice reports due to a lingering thigh issue and then tended to a knee injury during Week 7 prep, so the current health concern is a new one. He'll have two more sessions this week to return to full participation or else risk entering the weekend with a designation for Sunday's divisional matchup with the Rams.
Struggles with three targets
Lockett had one reception on three targets for nine yards in Sunday's 31-10 loss to Buffalo. Lockett got the start in place of the injured DK Metcalf (knee), but the results did not match his opportunity. Jaxon Smith-Njigba (6-69-0) wound up leading the Seahawks in receiving in a game during which the offense scored just one touchdown. Lockett will resume his role as the No. 2 or 3 receiver (pending Metcalf's availability) ahead of next Sunday's home tilt against the Rams.
Four grabs in Week 7 win
Lockett secured four of six targets for 45 yards in the Seahawks' 34-14 win over the Falcons on Sunday. Lockett tied for the team lead in receptions and for second in targets, but it was a quiet afternoon for the veteran wideout overall. Lockett has been a steady yet similarly unremarkable performer through his first seven games, and he's topped out at five receptions and 75 yards in his last six contests. Lockett could be in line for a bigger role in a Week 8 home showdown against the Bills, given the matchup and the fact DK Metcalf exited Sunday's game in the fourth quarter with a knee injury of to-be-determined severity.
Good to go
Lockett (knee) doesn't have an injury designation for Sunday's game in Atlanta, Michael-Shawn Dugar of The Athletic reports. Lockett has missed practice time throughout the season, first with a thigh injury and now due to a minor problem with his knee. He's played in every game since December 2022 and will keep the streak going Sunday in a game featuring two of the NFL's fastest-paced offenses.
Dealing with knee issue
Lockett didn't practice Thursday due to a knee injury, John Boyle of the Seahawks' official site reports. Lockett previously operated with the occasional cap on his practice reps from Weeks 1-5 due to a thigh issue, so his absence Thursday can be attributed to a new health concern. Considering he showed up on the Seahawks' injury report in the middle of the week, he may be in danger of sitting out Sunday's game in Atlanta. Still, Friday's report could provide some clarity on Lockett's chances to suit up this weekend.
Paces pass catchers in loss
Lockett secured four of eight targets for 65 yards and a touchdown in the Seahawks' 36-24 loss to the 49ers on Thursday night. Lockett's receiving yardage total paced the Seahawks on the night, and he was also the only Seattle pass catcher to find the end zone. The veteran receiver's impressive nine-yard grab in the back of the end zone late in the fourth quarter gave the Seahawks brief hope by narrowing their deficit to five points and also served as Lockett's first touchdown of the campaign. The 10th-year pro heads into a Week 7 road matchup against the Falcons with a four-game streak of at least four receptions and six targets.
