Pollard rushed the ball eight times for 35 yards in Sunday's 42-19 loss to the Commanders. He added four receptions on six targets for 33 yards. Pollard's most notable contribution to the game was a lost fumble late in the first quarter, which led to a Commanders touchdown three plays later. He was quickly scripted out of the contest from a rushing perspective, but he did account for eight of the team's 11 rushing attempts. If there was a positive to take away for Pollard, it was his involvement as a pass catcher, as he recorded his highest yardage total as a receiver since Week 2.

Tony Pollard Latest News
Four catches in blowout loss
Pollard rushed the ball eight times for 35 yards in Sunday's 42-19 loss to the Commanders. He added four receptions on six targets for 33 yards. Pollard's most notable contribution to the game was a lost fumble late in the first quarter, which led to a Commanders touchdown three plays later. He was quickly scripted out of the contest from a rushing perspective, but he did account for eight of the team's 11 rushing attempts. If there was a positive to take away for Pollard, it was his involvement as a pass catcher, as he recorded his highest yardage total as a receiver since Week 2.
Big effort in upset win
Pollard rushed the ball 24 times for 119 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 32-27 win over the Texans. He added three receptions on five targets for 10 yards. Pollard's volume jumped in the absence of Tyjae Spears (concussion) to tally at least 20 rushing attempts for the fourth time this season. He was perfectly capable of shouldering that workload, ripping off long gains of 27 and 19 yards while also finding the end zone from 10 yards out early in the second quarter. That was enough for Pollard to reach 100 yards on the ground for the second time this season, and he will be a must-start fantasy option in Week 13 against Washington if Spears remains sidelined.
Could be busy with Spears sidelined
Pollard is expected to get the majority of carries in Sunday's game against the Texans, per Jim Wyatt of the Titans' official site, as Tyjae Spears (concussion) has been ruled out. Pollard has averaged 24 touches in the three games that Spears has missed this season. An increased workload, albeit against a stout Texans front, could help Pollard get back on track after he tied his season low with 29 yards from scrimmage in Tennessee's Week 11 loss to the Vikings.
No room to operate Sunday
Pollard (foot) rushed nine times for 15 yards and caught two of four targets for 14 yards in Sunday's 23-13 loss to Minnesota. The Titans' rushing attack was abysmal against the Vikings' front, generating just 33 yards on 19 attempts as a team. Pollard was battling a foot injury during the practice week before gaining clearance for Sunday, but Tennessee's offensive line wouldn't have even been able to create enough push for Derrick Henry had he stayed with the club this past offseason. Pollard should produce better results against Houston next Sunday.
Good to go against Vikings
Pollard (foot) doesn't have an injury designation for Sunday's game against the Vikings. Pollard steadily increased his practice participation level throughout the week, capping Week 11 preparation with a full practice Friday following a DNP on Wednesday and a limited showing Thursday. He remains the lead back in Tennessee, though Pollard saw a decrease in usage following Tyjae Spears' return from a hamstring injury in Week 10 against the Chargers. Pollard got only nine carries in the 27-17 loss to Los Angeles after averaging 21.3 carries during Spears' three-game absence.
Limited due to foot issue
Pollard was listed as a limited participant in Thursday's practice due to a foot injury, Jim Wyatt of the Titans' official site reports. Though Pollard's lack of participation in Wednesday's practice was attributed to rest, he's now appearing on the Titans' injury report with a foot issue attached to his name. Pollard had shown up on Titans reports the past two weeks with the same injury and was ultimately cleared to play in games against the Patriots and Chargers, and assuming he's able to continue practicing in some fashion Friday, he should have a good chance at suiting up this Sunday versus the Vikings. Even so, Pollard may be operating as Option 1A out of the backfield rather than a true three-down workhorse, as he played just 53 percent of snaps and handled 13 touches in the loss to the Chargers in Week 10, when Tyjae Spears (47 percent snap share, 10 touches) made his return from a three-game absence due to a hamstring injury.
Only 13 touches in loss
Pollard rushed the ball nine times for 44 yards in Sunday's 27-17 loss to the Chargers. He added three receptions on three targets for four yards. Pollard suffered an apparent lower-body injury in the second quarter that caused him to miss a couple series, and the return of Tyjae Spears also cost Pollard some work. The result was Pollard recording his lowest touch and yardage total since Week 3. He should remain a key part of the Tennessee offense, but he's likely to settle into leading a more evenly split backfield moving forward.
Cleared for Week 10
Pollard (foot) doesn't carry an injury designation for Sunday's game against the Chargers after returning to a limited practice Friday. Fellow RB Tyjae Spears (hamstring) doesn't carry a Week 10 injury designation, either, and thus is set to return from a three-game absence. Pollard, who is coming off a 28-carry, 128-yard effort in a Week 9 overtime win over the Patriots, is on track to remain the Titans' lead back this weekend. The return of Spears should allow the team to ease Pollard's workload to a degree, but presumably not to an extent that would prevent him from maintaining fantasy utility versus Los Angeles.
Back at practice
Pollard (foot) was spotted at practice Friday, Jim Wyatt of the Titans' official site reports. Pollard (foot) didn't practice Thursday, but the running back's return to the field a day later suggests that his absence was maintenance-related. Friday's injury report will reveal whether Pollard carries an injury designation ahead of Sunday's game against the Chargers, but at this stage he should be available this weekend.
