Slay recorded six tackles (five solo) and two passes defensed during Sunday's 22-16 win versus the Panthers. Despite having missed two games due to injury this season, Slay now has 10 pass breakups on the year through Week 14. He'll be looking to add to that total in Week 15, though he might not have quite as many opportunities to do so versus the run-heavy Steelers.

Nice showing in win
Slay recorded six tackles (five solo) and two passes defensed during Sunday's 22-16 win versus the Panthers. Despite having missed two games due to injury this season, Slay now has 10 pass breakups on the year through Week 14. He'll be looking to add to that total in Week 15, though he might not have quite as many opportunities to do so versus the run-heavy Steelers.
Ready for Week 14
Slay (concussion) has no injury designation ahead of Sunday's matchup against the Panthers, Tim McManus of ESPN.com reports. Slay upgraded to full participation Thursday and Friday after logging a limited practice session Wednesday, suggesting that he's passed through the NFL's five-step concussion protocol in time to suit up Sunday. Expect the 12th-year pro to start opposite Quinyon Mitchell as part of the Eagles' top outside cornerback duo in Week 14.
Full practice participant Thursday
Slay (concussion) was listed as a full practice participant on Thursday's injury report. Slay remains in the league's concussion protocols, but he took a step in the right direction Thursday by practicing in full. The last step to exit protocols and play Sunday against Carolina would to be cleared by an independent neurologist. Slay has logged 32 tackles (26 solo), eight pass defenses and one forced fumble across 10 regular-season games.
Estimated as limited Wednesday
Slay (concussion) was estimated as a limited participant in Wednesday's walkthrough. Slay was diagnosed with a concussion in Week 12 against the Rams, and he wasn't cleared in time for this past Sunday's game against the Ravens. Slay would need to clear the league's five step concussion protocols in order to play against the Panthers on Sunday, and a full practice session over the next two days would be a step in the right direction for the veteran corner.
Ruled out for Sunday
Slay has been ruled out for Sunday's Week 13 clash against Baltimore due to a concussion. Slay suffered the concussion early in the second half Sunday versus the Rams and wasn't able to return. He'll need to clear the NFL's concussion protocol before he's able to return to the field. In Slay's absence Sunday, Isaiah Rodgers will likely start at cornerback.
Doesn't practice Wednesday
Slay (concussion) didn't practice Wednesday. Slay was concussed in the second half of last Sunday night's win over the Rams. Isaiah Rodgers stepped into the lineup for Slay following his injury and would presumably start in Week 13 against the Ravens if Slay is unable to play.
Done for night with concussion
Slay exited Sunday night's game against the Rams with a concussion and will not return. Slay was injured on the first defensive series of the second half. He previously was banged up in the first quarter as well but quickly returned to the game. Slay will now need to enter the league's concussion protocol ahead of next Sunday's date with the Ravens. Isaiah Rodgers is the next man up at cornerback for Philly.
Back in action Sunday
Slay (ankle) returned to Sunday's contest against the Cowboys in the second quarter, Dave Zangaro of NBC Sports Philadelphia reports. Slay suffered an ankle injury on the team's first defensive series, but he's now back out on the field. He'll continue to try to limit Cowboys wide receiver CeeDee Lamb in Week 10.
Injured on first series in Week 10
Slay hurt his ankle in Sunday's game against Dallas and is questionable to return. Slay headed to the medical tent after appearing to tweak his ankle on Dallas' opening drive, per Tim McManus of ESPN.com. It's unclear at this point if the injury is going to prevent Slay from reentering the contest. Isaiah Rodgers has taken over at cornerback in Slay's stead.
