Alexander (knee) was a limited participant in Monday's practice. Rob Demovsky of ESPN.com reported earlier Monday that Alexander was practicing, but the Packers' injury report clarified that it was a limited session. The All-Pro cornerback has missed three of Green Bay's last four games due to a partial tear in his PCL; however, Wednesday's limited session suggests he has a shot at returning for the Week 14 divisional matchup against the Lions.

Jaire Alexander Latest News
Officially limited Monday
Alexander (knee) was a limited participant in Monday's practice. Rob Demovsky of ESPN.com reported earlier Monday that Alexander was practicing, but the Packers' injury report clarified that it was a limited session. The All-Pro cornerback has missed three of Green Bay's last four games due to a partial tear in his PCL; however, Wednesday's limited session suggests he has a shot at returning for the Week 14 divisional matchup against the Lions.
Continues to practice
Alexander (knee) is practicing Monday, Rob Demovsky of ESPN.com reports. Alexander has now logged back-to-back practices ahead of the Packers' divisional showdown with the Lions on Thursday. The Louisville product has missed Green Bay's last two games due to the injury but may be trending in the right direction to suit up for Week 14. A decision on his status for the game likely won't come until closer to kickoff though.
Won't play in Week 13
Alexander (knee) has been ruled out ahead of Thursday night's matchup against the Dolphins, Wes Hodkiewicz of the Packers' official site reports. Alexander is now in line to miss his fifth game of the season after sustaining a knee injury in the Packers' Week 8 win over the Jaguars. Green Bay's secondary could struggle without Alexander, especially against a Dolphins offense averaging 255.4 passing yards and 2.2 passing touchdowns per game since Tua Tagovailoa returned from injury in Week 8. The Packers are expected to start Keisean Nixon and Carrington Valentine as their top outside corners in Thursday night's contest.
Estimated as DNP
Alexander (knee) was listed as a non-participant on Monday's practice estimation, Matt Schneidman of The Athletic reports. The Packers' All-Pro cornerback is dealing with a tear in his PCL that's sidelined him for two of the team's last three games, and Monday's estimated DNP is likely an indication that he'll miss further time. If Alexander is unable to practice in at least a limited capacity either Tuesday or Wednesday, he'll likely be held out of the Packers' Week 13 matchup against the Dolphins on Thanksgiving Day.
Sitting out in Week 12
Alexander (knee) has been ruled out for Sunday's game against the 49ers, Wes Hodkiewicz of the Packers' official site reports. Alexander initially injured his knee near the end of the Packers' Week 8 win in Jacksonville. After sitting out Week 9 against the Lions, he was cleared to return following the team's Week 10 bye, but he lasted just 10 snaps on defense before exiting early from this past Sunday's contest at Chicago. Alexander revealed Thursday that he's tending to a "tear on my PCL" that may result in more missed games, per Matt Schneidman of The Athletic. Coach Matt LaFleur said Friday that Alexander isn't a candidate for injured reserve, though, meaning he currently isn't expected to be sidelined for three more outings beyond Week 12.
Could miss time due to PCL injury
Alexander said Thursday that he's dealing with a "tear on my PCL" and may miss some time, Matt Schneidman of The Athletic reports. Alexander initially suffered the injury in the waning moments of the Packers' Week 8 win at Jacksonville, which sidelined him Week 9 against the Lions. Following a Week 10 bye, he was active this past Sunday in Chicago but lasted just 10 snaps on defense before aggravating the knee in question. With no clear timetable for a return to action, Alexander may miss his fourth game of the campaign Sunday versus the 49ers, which would allow Keisean Nixon and Carrington Valentine to start at cornerback for Green Bay.
Not practicing Wednesday
Alexander (knee) did not participate at practice Wednesday, Ryan Wood of USA Today reports. Alexander was forced out of Sunday's game at Chicago early with a knee injury, and now it looks like his availability for Week 12 is in jeopardy. He'll likely have to practice in some capacity Thursday or Friday to have any chance to play Sunday versus the 49ers.
Avoids serious injury
The knee injury that knocked Alexander out of Sunday's 20-19 win over the Bears is not believed to be serious, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports. Rapoport further reported that Alexander is "going to be ok" and that Sunday's injury was a continuation of one that the cornerback had already been working through. The seventh-year pro did miss the Packers' Week 9 loss to the Lions with the injury before Green Bay's Week 10 bye. Alexander has 16 tackles (15 solo), seven passes defensed, two interceptions and a fumble recovery in seven games this season.
Won't return vs. Chicago
Alexander (knee) has been ruled out for the rest of Sunday's game against the Bears. Alexander may have aggravated a knee issue that caused him to be sidelined against the Lions in Week 9. With Alexander out for the remainder of Sunday's contest, Eric Stokes will see an uptick in snaps with the Packers' first-team defense opposite Keisean Nixon.
