Goes on injured reserve
Campbell (knee) was placed on IR on Tuesday. Campbell's move to IR was a formality after it was reported Monday that he tore his ACL and would miss the 2024 campaign. He'll now turn his attention toward his recovery and being ready to compete in 2025.
Out for season
Campbell has a torn ACL and will miss the entire 2024 campaign, Turron Davenport of ESPN.com reports. Campbell suffered the injury during Sunday's preseason finale against New Orleans. He had an MRI the same day, and results revealed a torn ACL. Campbell will likely end up on season-ending IR, and he'll aim to recover in time for training camp next year.
Set for MRI on knee
Campbell will undergo an MRI on the knee he injured during the Titans' 30-27 preseason win over the Saints on Sunday, Jim Wyatt of the Titans' official site reports. Campbell was having a strong training camp, and over the first two preseason games he accumulated 17 tackles (11 solo), including 1.0 sacks, and one pass defended. The MRI will determine the severity of Campbell's knee injury and, assuming he makes the 53-man roster, his availability for Week 1 against the Bears on Sept. 8.
Leaves game with knee injury
Campbell is questionable to return to Sunday's preseason game against the Saints due to a knee injury, John Glennon of NashvillePost.com reports. Campbell sustained the injury in the first half of Sunday's contest, and he did not record a tackle before exiting the game. The 2022 sixth-round pick is competing for a depth spot at inside linebacker after appearing in just four regular-season games for the Titans in 2023.
Back at minicamp
Campbell (undisclosed) was spotted participating in the Titans' minicamp session Wednesday, Nick Suss of The Tennessean reports. Campbell was dealing with an undisclosed injury that forced him to miss the Titans' final 10 games in 2023, but it now seems as if he's past the issue. The 24-year-old linebacker played 67 total snaps (62 on special teams) and recorded three total tackles across four games last year, and he's expected to compete for a similar role this offseason.
Suffers pregame injury
The 24-year-old linebacker was elevated to the Titans' active roster earlier in the week, but he won't be available for Sunday's contest after suffering some sort of injury while warming up. Campbell has appeared in four games for Tennessee this season, recording three total tackles and primarily playing on special teams.
