Goes to injured reserve

The Bears reverted Coleman (upper body) to IR on Wednesday, per the NFL's transaction log. Coleman was hurt in Chicago's preseason finale last Thursday and exited the field on a backboard. He was released from the hospital the following day and was waived/injured by the Bears on Saturday. Because he's cleared waivers, Coleman will miss the entire 2024 campaign unless he reaches an injury settlement with the team.
