Prosper will slide to the bench in Monday's preseason matchup against the Clippers, Justin Russo of the 'Clip & Roll' podcast reports. Prosper got the spot start in Thursday's loss to the Jazz, and he amassed a double-double with 10 points and 10 rebounds. However, the 22-year-old will slide back to the bench with P.J. Washington making his return to game action after nursing a hip injury to begin the preseason.
Prosper delivered 10 points (3-8 FG, 1-3 3Pt, 3-3 FT), 10 rebounds and an assist across 33 minutes in Thursday's 107-102 preseason loss to the Jazz. Prosper got the start in the frontcourt alongside Dereck Lively, and there's no question the second-year forward took advantage of the opportunity. As good as he looked alongside Lively, Prosper's path at regular minutes in the regular season is blocked, meaning he shouldn't have any value in most fantasy formats regardless of how good he looks during his brief preseason cameos.
