Foreman (knee) reverted to the Raiders' injured reserve Thursday after clearing waivers, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports. Foreman was carted off the field during practice Aug. 5 and appeared to have suffered a serious knee injury. Now that he's on IR, he will miss the entire 2024 season unless he reaches an injury settlement with the Raiders.
The Raiders waived Foreman (knee) with an injury designation Wednesday. Foreman has been held out of Las Vegas' practices since sustaining a seemingly serious knee injury on Aug. 5, and the team has now decided to part ways with the rookie wideout. If Foreman clears waivers, he'll revert to the Raiders' injured reserve list and miss all of 2024 unless the two parties reach an injury settlement at some point this season.
Foreman (knee) was carted off during Monday's practice with his left leg in an air cast, Paul Gutierrez of ESPN.com reports. Gutierrez also reported that Foreman's knee injury was of the non-contact variety, suggesting the undrafted wideout could miss substantial time. Foreman likely had only an outside shot of making the Raiders' 53-man roster before this injury, but his chances now seem to be slim to none.
