Ciarlo (knee) reverted to the Jets' injured reserve list Monday, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports. He'll now have to miss the entirety of the 2024 campaign unless he can reach an injury settlement with the Jets. Fellow rookie Jackson Sirmon could see an uptick in practice reps with Ciarlo out of the way.
The Jets waived/injured Ciarlo (knee) on Sunday, Rich Cimini of ESPN.com reports. Ciarlo played four snaps on special teams in Saturday's 20-17 preseason win over the Commanders, though he left the contest due to a knee injury. If Ciarlo clears waivers, he will revert to the Jets' injured reserve, which will force him to miss the entire 2024 season unless the two sides reach an injury settlement.
Ciarlo will not return to Saturday's preseason matchup with the Commanders due to a knee injury, Rich Cimini of ESPN.com reports. There is no word on the severity of Ciarlo's injury at this point in time. When healthy, the rookie is competing for a depth role at outside linebacker for the Jets.
