Jones was waived by the 76ers on Wednesday, Paul Hudrick of Liberty Ballers reports. The 76ers signed Lester Quinones to a two-way contract Wednesday, so Jones had to be waived to make that happen. An undrafted rookie out of Memphis, Jones averaged 21.8 points, 7.6 rebounds, 2.5 three-pointers, 2.2 steals and 1.8 assists in 32.3 minutes per contest during his senior season.
