If you’re an Abu Dhabi resident and missed your chance to get tickets to Saturday’s UFC 112 event on Yas Island, today is your lucky day.
UFC officials today announced that due to “overwhelming demand,” additional tickets for the promotion’s Middle East debut have been released. The custom-built arena at the Ferrari World theme park has been reconfigured to allow for more seating.
Tickets range from $107 to $1,007 and can be purchased at boxofficememe.com. Tickets for the show were still available this afternoon.
“The response to UFC 112 from fans across the region has been hugely positive,” stated John Lickr of Zuffa minority partner Flash Entertainment. “We hope that by introducing more tickets to the marketplace, we will be able to satisfy demand for this historic event.”
The UFC card features a triple main event which includes two championship fights. Anderson Silva defends the middleweight title against Demian Maia and B.J. Penn takes on Frankie Edgar for the lightweight championship. In addition, welterweight legend Matt Hughes will take on Renzo Gracie in Gracie’s UFC debut.
