PAX Prime 2014 is going to host several video game publishers and their biggest upcoming releases. Microsoft Studios, Square Enix, 2K Games, Nintendo and many more big-name game companies will treat the event’s attendees to some playable demos.
Once you step into the huge convention center in Seattle, Washington, your senses are going to be in overload mode. There’s going to so many things to play, see, listen to, smell, buy and get super excited about. On the video games front, there are going to be a few titles that you’ll want to set aside some time for. These 10 games need to be on your PAX Prime 2014 to-do list.

10. Kingdom Hearts HD 2.5 ReMIX
We’re pretty pleased to hear that Square Enix is showing their ardent Kingdom Hearts fan base some love at PAX Prime 2014. The HD 2.5 ReMix will be playable on the show floor and show off the many improvements that are being out into this remixed and improved version of three separate KH games.
Among the newest additions to the game includes new bosses and enemies such as Roxas and Monstro, never-before-seen cutscenes and new playable episodes. This ultimate love letter to fans of the 2nd string of KH titles have much to look forward to once this game officially releases on December 2, 2014. You might as well demo it early at PAX Prime 2014.
9. ID@Xbox Games
Microsoft will be throwing a special event during PAX Prime 2014’s festivities at its beautiful Microsoft Campus. On Thursday (August 28, 2014), Microsoft will showcase its line of indie games through its ID@Xbox game initiative. Head on down to the Microsoft Building 92 (15010 NE 36th Street, Redmond, WA 98052) from 6 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. PST and partake in playing 25 upcoming Xbox indie titles.
Not only will you get to play some upcoming release such as #IDARB, Dive Kick, Gunscape and Fenix Rage, you’ll get to talk to the actual developers behind each project. To get a full listing of all the game that will be available for play at this event, hit up this LINK.
8. Lara Croft and the Temple of Osiris
The Rise of the Tomb Raider won’t be showing up for PAX Prime 2014, but Lara Croft will still be raiding some tombs on the showroom floor. This 4-player, co-op top-down adventure features Lara and three other heroes as they look to vanquish the evil god Set.
You’ll run alongside your friends, raid some tombs, defeat hordes from the Egyptian underworld and collect all types of valuable treasure. You’ll be able to play this sequel to Lara Croft and The Guardian of Light on December 9, 2014, but you should check it out early at PAX Prime 2014.
7. The Crew
Ubisoft is ready to give racing game fans a closer look at their upcoming racer, The Crew. This state spanning, open-world racer features a a cool team-racing mechanic and a 20-hour long campaign that’s worth delving into.
For those of you who didn’t get to play the closed PC beta, you can all head to PAX Prime 2014 and see what those lucky beta testers got to experience. If you’re addicted to the Need for Speed series and are ready to for a new street racing franchise to get into, get your hands on The Crew.
6. Bayonetta 2
October 2014 is going to hurt gamer’s wallets badly. Like “I guess I can go without dinner this month badly.” Why? Cause there’s a ton of awesome games releasing every week of this month. Wii U owners will FINALLY get the chance to own the 2nd iteration in PlatinumGames’ Bayonetta series.
Just imagine how much more mind-blowing this game will look on the big screen as you play it in front of a crowd of PAX Prime 2014 attendees. Every trailer we’ve set our eyes upon is full of pure insanity and angel-killing action. Do yourself a favor and check out Bayonetta 2.
