If you’re interested in watching the ball drop in Times Square or watch the rising of the orange in Miami, you’ve come to the right place. Let’s start with Miami. Above is the livestream, which starts at 5:00 p.m. EST, though the events don’t truly begin until 8:00 p.m. The Big Orange, or La Gran Naranja, rises to the top of the Hotel InterContinental Miami when the clock strikes midnight. As far as the performances in Miami go, Pitbull will be the master of ceremonies, hosting Pitbull’s New Year’s Revolution, marking the 30th anniversary of the Big Orange NYE tradition.
Now let’s move on to Times Square, where we watch the ball drop each year. Kathy Griffin and Anderson Cooper will team up again to cover the event for CNN, while Ryan Seacrest will be hosting Dick Clark’s Rockin’ New Year’s Eve again as well. If you can’t get to your television to watch it drop on ABC, NBC, CBS, FOX, or CNN, your best bet is for a live stream webcast online. Check it out below:
The above webcast begins at 6:00 p.m. EST and ends at 12:15 a.m. EST on January 1, 2015. If you have trouble viewing the live stream once it has started, the webcast is also available at TimesSquareNYC.org, TimesSquareBall.net and Ustream.tv/2015.
Earthcam is also live streaming the big event tonight again this year. Click here to watch the ball drop, but International New Year’s cams, and watch the live broadcast.
