It took a while, but Alex Killorn finally got the scoring started during Game 7 of the Eastern Conference Finals.
After two scoreless periods, the 25-year-old Canadian put the Tampa Bay Lightning in front early in the third when he went five-hole on Henrik Lundqvist, who has been practically unbeatable during Game 7’s in his career.
The goal was Killorn’s seventh of the posteason. Matt Carle and Valtteri Flippula were credited with the assists.
