New Zealand and Netherlands have hardly been major contenders on the international stage, but both countries have an excellent opportunity to make a run at the 2015 Women’s World Cup.

We’ll start with Netherlands. While the men have established themselves as one of the best teams in the world, the women will be making their first appearance at a World Cup. A lack of experience may be concerning, but with Vivianne Miedema, anything is possible. The 18-year-old, who is taking over Europe and earning comparisons to compatriot Arjen Robben, scored an absurd 16 goals in 13 appearances during World Cup qualifying.

Not many players can take over a game like her:

New Zealand, meanwhile, has yet to make it past the group stage at the World Cup, but they made it to the quarterfinals at the 2012 Olympics and only seem to be getting better. In their final tune-up before the World Cup, they played extremely tough against defending champs Japan, one of the favorites in Canada.

With Canada grabbing a late winner to defeat China, both nations have a chance to grab a strong position atop Group A.

They play at 9 p.m. ET on Fox Sports 2. If you don’t have a TV nearby, here’s how to watch online and on mobile:
