It will be a rematch between Texas East and Colorado for a chance to play in South Williamsport in the 2015 Little League World Series.
On Wednesday, Pearland West Little League (representing Texas East) defeated North Boulder Little League (representing Colorado) in decisive fashion, 9-1. Marco Gutierrez provided the brunt of the damage, hitting a pair of home runs and driving in four runs to book his team a spot in the Southwest Regional championship.
North Boulder made its way to the loser’s bracket, where it beat Pine Bluff Western Little League (representing Arkansas) in a thrilling 11-9 contest. They smacked four home runs, including two from Trevor Moore, and now they’ll have to find a way to solve Texas East, which has won its three regional games by 27 combined runs.
