Experience

Randy Mueller covered the NFL for Heavy.com from 2022 to 2023. Named the PWFA's Executive of the Year in 2000, he brings over 30 years of NFL experience, from ball boy to general manager.

A household name in Seattle, Mueller spent 17 seasons with the Seattle Seahawks front office from 1983 to 2000. He was also named the director of player personnel for the XFL's Seattle Sea Dragons in 2022.

Mueller sat in the GM seat for the New Orleans Saints from 2000 to 2002, where he helped lead the franchise to its first playoff win in 2000. He later spent 2005 to 2008 as the general manager of the Miami Dolphins before a 10-year stint with the San Diego/Los Angeles Chargers as a senior executive and national scout from 2008 to 2018.

Education

Randy Mueller graduated from Linfield University in 1983 with a bachelor of science degree in business administration and management.

A former quarterback who led the school's 1982 NAIA Division II national championship team, he was inducted into the Linfield Athletics Hall of Fame in 2010.
