‘This is 40?’ This Better Be Good.

The spin off/sequel to the 2007 summer hit Knocked Up, is here with the much anticipated release of, This is 40, directed by Judd Apatow. Paul Rudd and Leslie Mann reprise their roles as a con-jointed couple along with Apatow’s children who were in the first movie. Again, what is it with the sequels? Why can’t one good film be left alone?

Rudd, Segel and Apatow, all masters of the comedic domain, will surely deliver funny, gross out scenes with silly antics. The title which gives a lot away, seems to be about marriage and children and everything that happens once when one enters the forty set realm. Given Apatow’s raw sense of humor, I am sure it will manage to be relevant and entertaining with Mann being her sarcastic, honest self and Rudd, the lovable, self-deprecating husband, appeasing his family while confronting his mortality. Good times.
