The Shining

Stephen King announced on his website that he is releasing a sequel to the bestselling novel The Shining, which was the basis for the hit 1980 movie starring Jack Nicholson. The sequel will debut 36 years after the original was first published in 1977 and will be titled Doctor Sleep.

The book will follow the son of Jack Torrance, Danny as he uses his gift of the “shining” to provide comfort to the dying at a nursing home. That’s not all though, right? If anyone has ever read a a Stephen King novel, expect something along the lines of a horrific twist, or at least to get scared s***less.
