LISTEN: Kanye Shows Off Dark New Music On SNL

Kanye West has been very outspoken about the popular sketch comedy show Saturday Night Live, from talking about them during a show in New York City last week to referencing them in some of his songs. But, Kanye still showed up to perform on Saturday, and sang two new songs.

The songs, titled “Black Skinhead” and “New Slave” are clearly racially charged, but you won’t realize how dark, intense, and angry the lyrics and vocals are on those tracks until you actually listen to them. After my first listen, I was actually shocked, in awe, and afraid Kanye was going to stab me in my sleep.
