We can all recall our favorite actor Robert Downey Jr. playing the role of Tony Stark in Iron Man, saying:
To turn over the Iron Man suit would be to turn over myself, which is tantamount to indentured servitude or prostitution, depending on what state you’re in.
Well, looks like the kid he made cry yesterday wasn’t in a very good “state” when he saw Robert walking around without his superhero suit on! Such a suit requires a responsibility, Mr. Downey, a red and gold responsibility that you must carry around with you every time you are in public (to avoid crying children, apparently). Daily Mail Online reported a heartbreaking yet funny encounter with Robert and a sobbing child when the boy realized that Mr. Downey is, in fact, not a walking suit of metal in real life.

The distraught little boy’s mother later told People Magazine:
He was fine as soon as he talked to him… he was so confused because I kept telling him it was Iron Man and he knew it wasn’t. Well, not Iron Man in the suit.
But, all was well because good-willed Robert spent the next ten minutes consoling the little boy and making sure he hadn’t lost all faith in fictional movies. Although, we’re sure the boy’s mother still had a lot of ‘splainin to do once they got home.
Once again, Iron Man saves the day!
