Just one day after Charlie Sheen set out to get Selma Blair fired from the cast of Anger Management, Lionsgate Entertainment officially released a statement announcing that the actress will not be returning to the show, reports TMZ.
“We are confirming that Selma Blair will not be returning to Anger Management and we wish her the very best,” Lionsgate said in a statement on Tuesday.
Sheen personally fired Blair over the weekend after hearing that she was complaining about his work ethic behind his back. The Los Angeles Times reports that the actor was known durign his time on Men for taking long weekends and regularly skipping meetings and table reads. Sheen went to the producers and give them ultimatum that either she goes or he will. Looks like the producers decided to side with Sheen.
The drama seemingly came out of no where because Blair just positively tweeted about Sheen last week.
Thanks for a great day back @charliesheen . You looked pretty darn handsome.

Sources say that Blair’s exit from the show will not impact taping and will continue on as planned.
