Both marijuana and drug paraphernalia were seized from a bus associated with Justin Bieber‘s tour at the Canadian border on its way to Michigan Sunday night, reports TMZ.
Chief Customs and Border Protection Officer Ken Hammond told the gossip website that the bus was stopped at Ambassador Bridge when a police dog sniffed out the illegal drugs. The pop singer was reportedly not on the bus.
“On July 28, a commercial touring bus attempted to enter the U.S. through Detroit via the Ambassador Bridge,” Hammond said in a statement.
Authorities seized the marijuana and paraphernalia and issued a citation to the driver. The passengers on the bus were released.
The tour bus was on its way to a concert scheduled in Detroit later that night. Bieber’s rep hasn’t responded for a statement, but the pop star gave a shout out to Toronto and Detroit on Twitter and took off towards New York and New Jersey for concerts later this week.
Just talking about the last couple shows. Toronto and Detroit were real! Energy was next level . Thanks!
