A Katy Perry promotional truck was struck by a drunk driver in a Wal-Mart parking lot in Pennsylvania Friday afternoon, reports TMZ.
The 18-wheeler is one of many that Katy Perry commissioned to promote her upcoming album, Prism, painted gold and adorned in album release copy. The collision occurred at a truck stop around 3:30 p.m. when the driver of another truck slammed into the singer’s front cabin, causing significant damage. No one was hurt, and Perry was not present.
The driver of the other truck initially fled the scene, but returned to the scene of the crash moments later. He was arrested for driving under the influence.
Moments after the crash, Perry’s stylist Johnny Wujek tweeted, “Can’t slow us down.”
