1. Eddie Redmayne Proposed on Memorial Day 2014

Us Weekly reported that:

The 32-year-old British hunk popped the question to his lady love over Memorial Day Weekend while on vacation together.

According to a source:

He had been planning on it for awhile. They have a very relaxed and supportive relationship … they seemed to have always known they were going to spend the rest of their lives together.

2. Redmayne Asked Bagshawe’s Father for Permission First

Traditionally, the man asks his love’s father for permission to ask for her hand in marriage and that’s just what Redmayne did.

3. The Two Live Together in London

The couple have happily lived together in London for a while and Bagshawe is reportedly already considered to be part of the Redmayne family. Us Weekly writes:

No word yet on exactly when the pair will tie the knot, but Bagshawe is already considered part of Redmayne’s family. The second source adds Bagshawe “has been basically a part of the family for years now.”

According to Business Week, Bagshawe is quite accomplished in the public relations field:

5. Redmayne Relies on Bagshawe to Dress Him

Redmayne says that he is actually colorblind and relies on fiancee Hannah to make sure he matches when he gets dressed. The Daily Mail reported that Redmayne told People:

I’m confused with colours. When I go out to premieres and events, I have to check with my girlfriend that the trousers match the top … I recently wore a blue suit – and I had to ask her if it was really blue rather than purple. She assured me it was blue. I could not tell the difference. I’m lucky to be with someone who is very supportive.
