1. Bryan Cranston Is His Big Competition at the Emmys
At tonight’s 2014 Emmy Awards, the big contenders in the Outstanding Lead Actor in a Drama Series category are Matthew and Bryan Cranston. Many believe Cranston may take the win because it’s the last opportunity to honor him for his role in Breaking Bad. However, many reports suggest that Matthew could win as well. TV.com writes:
While McConaughey was brilliant as a spewer of grim mumbo-jumbo, Cranston faced the meatier and more difficult task of playing a character with more variation and substance.
2. He Lived in a Trailer Home Even as a Millionaire
Matthew may have been rich and famous before he met his wife, but he didn’t splurge on a big mansion until he started a family. He actually was living in a decked out trailer home. No I’m not kidding. Architectural Digest writes:
Actor Matthew McConaughey customized his 2004 Airstream International CCD 28 with a practical mind-set. “If it looks good but it’s not functional, then it’s not worth anything,” he says.
