“There is trouble in paradise,” Cannon exclusively told The Insider With Yahoo on August 21. “We have been living in separate houses for a few months.”

Cannon is denying he said that, and sent a multitude of tweets in his own defense, with these included:

As far as the possibility of a divorce goes, Cannon dispelled the rumor months ago.

He told Parade:

You kind of have to ignore it because every week it’s something different, and if you paid attention to it, it actually probably would start really affecting you…There’s no merit or truth to it. It’s kind of humorous, really. It couldn’t be further off from the truth, and it really affects the credibility of the so-called newspapers.

In response, Mariah’s publicist told Us Weekly, “I don’t comment on Mariah’s personal life, but Mariah is focusing on her children and her upcoming tour.”

On August 28, People reported that Carey was out in Manhattan without her wedding ring.

2. They Got Married Weeks After Dating

After Carey cast Cannon to play her love interest in her video, the pair felt a strong bond.

She told People of their instant connection:

From the first time we sat down to discuss the video at the Beverly Hills Hotel, we connected,” Cannon told the magazine. “We had so much in common spiritually, and we laugh at the same things. I didn’t have to put on my mac-daddy-suave mode. I was able to be myself with her. We are both eternally 12 years old

In the clip above, Cannon told Big Boy that they first consummated their marriage on their wedding night.

“Honeymoon style. House in Bahamas… That’s a real woman right there to make you wait,” Cannon gushed.

3. Mariah Admitted She Doesn’t Always Trust Nick

In the above interview with Barbara Walters, she was asked if she trusted her husband. “Sometimes,” she answered.

When Cannon acted surprised, Carey said, “Can I trust you more than sometimes, you tell me.”

The America’s Got Talent host also explained his tattoo, shown below.

4. They Have Twins

The couple welcome twins, Morocco and Monroe, on April 30, 2011, the same day as their third wedding anniversary.

They first debuted the babies on 20/20 , and shared this photo album with ABC News.

5. Nick Revealed His Sexual Partners, Kim Included

In his March interview with Big Boy, he revealed some pretty personal details about his sex life.

“How many famous women has Nick Cannon been with?” the host asked. “This is L.A…That’s the whole purpose,” Cannon said.

Christina Milian, Kim Kardashian and Nicole Scherzinger were among the names he listed.

When Cannon sat down with Howard Stern, he also spoke about Kardashian. When Stern later asked Cannon if Carey was angry at the conversation, he replied, “My wife, she doesn’t even know who Kim Kardashian is.”

Big Boy also asked Cannon how he managed to get a woman like Carey to date him. “I spoke it into existence, man…I went hard at it. People would be like, ‘Yo, who’s your celebrity crush. And I’d be, Mariah Carey…I would show up to concerts, I would be backstage, all that,” he replied.
