Will Kristen Wiig & Seth Meyers Return to SNL With Bill Hader as Host?

With Bill Hader returning to Saturday Night Live to host tonight, many are hoping that some more favorite SNL alums will show up. With Hader having a new movie alongside fellow SNL veteran Kristen Wiig, the odds are pretty good that she’ll make an appearance on the show. The two stars have an award-winning movie together called The Skeleton Twins, where they play brother and sister.

Another star who we’re hoping to see is Seth Meyers. SNL now has new stars who carry out the Weekend Updates, but fans are hoping Meyers will stop by. If Hader’s beloved character Stefon makes an appearance, there’s a good chance Meyers could turn up since he’s the object of Stefon’s affection. In fact, Stefon got married to Meyers on a very memorable finale.

UPDATE: Kristen Wiig showed up in the beginning of the show to help Hader sing his opening monologue. She then appeared, playing celebrity Kathie Lee Gifford on the Hollywood Game Night skit. And, for a tribute to former cast member Jan Hooks who passed away this week, Wiig joined Hader once again on stage, plus one more time to announce the second performance of musical guest Hoozier. Seth Meyers did not appear tonight. Bill Hader, as character Stefon, told viewers that he was at home practicing sitting behind a desk.
