Lauren Kitt-Carter is the wife of Nick Carter, who we’ve gotten to know on the new reality show I Heart Nick Carter. We love Kitt because she’s real, she takes charge, and she’s a very supportive wife. One thing she deals with, unlike many wives out there, is being married to a celebrity. The show not only follows around Nick Carter, the Backstreet Boy. It also gives us an inside look at what it’s like to be in Kitt’s world and how she and Carter are just a regular couple. Kitt didn’t always have it easy. Like Carter, she’s had a rough past with her family as her mother was in and out of jail. She was also overweight when she met Carter, but she figured out a great fitness routine that works for her and she maintains an amazing figure.
We got the chance to talk with Kitt about an upcoming episode on I Heart Nick Carter, featuring the Bachelor/Bachelorette weekend in Vegas and Kitt gave us some fun facts about the trip. Check out the 5 Fast Facts, written by Kitt below:
1. Nick and I Love Road Trips
We drove ourselves to Vegas for our bachelor/bachelorette party with our friends Michael and Justin for the sake of a good ol’ road trip adventure. It was so much fun listening to music, cracking each other up, and just enjoying the open road.
2. Emotions Were Running High in Vegas
Everyone was so excited to be in Vegas together and emotions were definitely high (in the best way possible!). There was so much joy in our group and it was the first of many traditions leading up to our wedding that we celebrated. I’m so happy we have that weekend on film to remember forever.
Check out a video clip of Kitt dealing with the obstacles that comes with planning a wedding above.
3. The Girls Were Bigger on Gambling Than the Guys
My girls and I could not wait to let our hair down and have some fun, so we hit the craps table while the guys went to the spa. Some of the guys even asked if they could join us instead. Ha ha.
4. Our Hotel Suite Connected to All of Our Guests
Nick and I had an amazing suite at our hotel that was connected to the rest of our guests rooms and that made it so much fun! We all felt like we were at camp!
5. Alien Jerky Made the Trip
Sunday morning on the drive home to Malibu we stopped at Alien Jerky for some road snacks and souvenirs. One of the things Nick and I love most about road trips are the fun, interesting places to stop at along the way. You never know what you’re going to find and we love exploring whenever we get the chance!
