Aside from Blizzard’s first franchise in nearly two decades, the 2014 Blizzcon event was also graced with some awesome screenshots from the upcoming free-to-play, online team brawler Heroes of the Storm. The game pits the champions and villains of Blizzard blockbusters Strarcraft, Warcraft, and Diablo against one another in an all-out slugfest with a twist: they need to work together in teams instead of the standard kill-steals and last hit mechanics of typical online team-based brawlers.

Ready for some 5v5 online mayhem? Here’s a taste of what you’re in for – some gameplay screenshots straight from Blizzcon (some UI screenshots below!):
You can take on the role of characters like Diablo, Zeratul, Tyrael, Kerrigan, Arthas, and Thrall and customize them to suit your brawling style using a unique talent system that unlocks abilities and bonuses distinct to each character the heroes progress through the game. Check out some UI screenshots:
The team-based melees play out on 7 unique maps, where you can conquer mercenary camps to recruit some kick-ass allies to your cause and unlock secrets that can deploy creatures such as massive grave golems or even the dreaded Raven Lord. Brawls deliver about 20 minutes of havoc in a DOTA-meets-Smash-Bros style of gameplay, with each match offering different possibilities and strategies for the clashing teams to explore and leverage.
