This year there are a few changes to the show regulations for the Emmys. For example, the Outstanding Miniseries category will be renamed as “Outstanding Limited Series”. A “Guest Actor” is now classified as a performer who appears in less than 50% of the show’s episodes. In addition, the Outstanding Variety Series category is now split into two separate categories: “Outstanding Variety Talk” and “Outstanding Variety Sketch”.
