Olivia Caridi, ‘The Bachelor’: 5 Fast Facts You Need to Know

Olivia Caridi is one of the contestants you need to watch on season 20 of The Bachelor. Ben Higgins fell for her right away, but is she all she seems? Read on below for major season spoilers in addition to what you can expect from Caridi.

1. Caridi Has Been Classified as the Manipulator This Season

Fellow cast members have described Caridi as a manipulative liar on the show, but Higgins does not see that side of her right away. Caridi has said on the show, “I’m not here for friends. Yeah, I’m aggressive — I’m not going to fade to the back.”

Higgins dished to Entertainment Tonight:

I’m excited for everyone to get to know Olivia more. I think she — her personality and her character — kind of develops over time and everybody will get to know Olivia a lot better even starting this week.

2. She Is Not the Winner This Season

For those of you hoping that Caridi does not win the heart of Ben Higgins, don’t worry. Caridi is not this season’s winner. According to Reality Steve, the winner this season is Lauren Bushnell, who was the first limo arrival on the premiere.

3. Caridi Is a News Anchor

Olivia Caridi is a news anchor when she isn’t appearing on The Bachelor. She works at Virginia’s NBC affiliate WCYB and landed the job less than a year after graduating from Texas Christian University.

4. Ben Higgins Gets Called Out By Caridi For Kissing Other Girls

Of course, on the show, Ben Higgins is going to be kissing other girls. It comes with the territory, but Reality Steve reports that Caridi calls out Higgins and kicks off her role as the show villain. Steve states that:

Olivia called Ben out for kissing a lot of the girls and things apparently started getting tense between Olivia and the girls from this point on. Wouldn’t say she was the villain, but certainly will be the girl from this point forward in the show who the other girls don’t get along with. Olivia is definitely the “not here to make friends” girl this season.

Later on in the season, Olivia goes on a two-on-one date with Emily Ferguson and she ends up getting sent home.

5. Caridi Got the First Impression Rose of the Season

Olivia Caridi stunned Higgins when he first saw her and he was immediately attracted to her. In turn, she managed to get the first impression rose this season. She also captures his attention throughout the season with a lot of chemistry between the two of them.
