UPDATE: And, the contestants going through to the top 8 are … Dalton, Lee, Sonika, MacKenzie, La’Porsha, Trent, Tristan and Avalon.
On tonight’s episode of American Idol, the top 10 contestants will be narrowed down to the top 8, who will all perform for America. As Idol 2016 shifts its schedule to one night a week, the results and performances fit into one two-hour-long episode each Thursday. With a double elimination tonight, emotions are running high as the journey must end for two favorites.
Yesterday, we took a poll, asking our readers to choose their favorite contestant so that we could come up with an accurate prediction of who may be going home tonight. Have a look at the results below.
So, if the rest of America feels the same way our readers do, it looks like Lee Jean and Gianna Isabella may be voted off the show.
