Do NOT read this post if you DO NOT wish to know who the winner of The Bachelor is for season 20.
So, let’s just dive in. Tonight is the finale of The Bachelor 2016 with Ben Higgins having to choose between two women he loves – Lauren Bushnell and Joelle “JoJo” Fletcher. Bushnell has been reported to be the winner by Bachelor guru Reality Steve and she IS the winner this season.
On the show, Higgins told both Bushnell and Fletcher that he was in love with them. He also recently revealed to host Chris Harrison that he did tell the winner about the double love profession after the finale. He said that she was upset, but that he is happily engaged to his love and that he would marry her tomorrow if he could. The show has planned to test out Higgins’ words on the After the Final Rose special. Will Higgins and Bushnell tie the knot?
When Higgins told his fiancee about his being in love with two women, he told Us Weekly:
It was a lot for her to take in. We continue to move forward because we continue to communicate … I put her through hell and back … She’s been supportive and loving, and ultimately we’re going to get through it. We have gotten through it.
Unfortunately, there are some gossip sites like Celeb Dirty Laundry who say that Bushnell actually broke up with Higgins when he told her about telling Fletcher he loved her as well. According to the tabloid, Higgins actually changed his mind several times on the day of the proposal, which didn’t sit well with Bushnell.
Whether this is true or not, the couple seem to be doing well now. So, even if Bushnell DID break up with Higgins, it appears their relationship is back on. On the season finale of the show, Bushnell cries to the camera saying that she can’t picture her life without Higgins. Hopefully, she never has to …
